Often, we find ourselves unable to keep our promises. But even if that's the case, the Lord remains true to His promises.
In the Bible, we see story after story of God's people unable to stay true to their commitments to God, but the Lord never left them for He has promised that He will be their God and He will be with them until the end.
Sharing with you the things that we can learn from the Bible about God's Promises to us:
1. Look at the track record of God in your life Remember God's track record of the Lord in your life. How were you able to go through your life challenges? You will realize it's because God was there. You will realize God was there "for his steadfast love endures forever." (Psalm 136:3) 2. Let God speak His promises to you You might miss out on the good things that God is promising to us if we are too consumed or too attached on the things that we want for ourselves. Let God speak to you. Let God introduce Himself to you and reveal His promises to you. He will be our God and everything else will follow. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord." (Isaiah 55:8) 3. Take a step that you will really try your best to make God your God and to be a better person for Him. Trust that the Lord will remain true to his promise. In response to God's faithfulness, if you make a promise to Him, then give Him your trust that He will also empower you to fulfill that promise.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord. (Isaiah 55:8)
